Animals Not Paying Rent?
Squirrels In Attic

Have you lost much needed sleep over animals in your attic space or walls? How many nights have you listened to the sounds of rodents chewing and digging around in your home not knowing what it is they are destroying? Does it sound like they moved in and built a small bowling ally your attic? I know the sounds very well myself. We have been dealing with rodents in peoples homes for over a decade now in Georgia. We can seal it up and stop them from gaining entry into your home and put a stop to your worries. Your rodent problems can end with having some animal proofing work performed on your home. We can also offer you nothing more than a single trapping service if you think that might solve your problems. In our experience it does nothing for long term solutions to real problems. But some go this route and trust me it is better than doing nothing. That trapping service could be the difference to chewed up wires and a real fire hazard from rodents chewing the wires to not having chewed up wires. Anything is better than doing nothing in my experience.
We Offer Three Methods For Animal Removal:
Make Them Start Moving Out!

What If You Cut Down All The Trees Around The Home?

These animals have figured out a number of things. It is warmer in your house then outside. It is also safer to build a nest in your home and fill it with baby squirrels than outside where predators can find them. And we can help get them out and keep them out. Rather you have squirrels in the attic or squirrels nesting in the walls a solution can be achieved. A Rat infestation can many times be mistaken for a squirrel infestation. Both animals are part of the rodent family and can also be infesting the same structure at the same time. A squirrel problem can be a simple fix and in other circumstances it can the result of a construction gap left around the edge of the roof line. If your home has this gap animals would not need to chew an entry point they would be able to walk straight into the attic space. A good inspection will determine the root of your problems. Animal control is not rocket science but in order to perform nuisance wildlife animal control as a commercial business you have to be licensed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The owner of ARS Wildlife & Animal Removal Specialist has been licensed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for the last decade.

Squirrel problems always start with thumps and chewing sounds in the attic and walls. Then you start to realize those sounds are not just on the roof top but inside the attic or walls. Many times customers then decide to go have a look around only to discover the mess these animals leave behind. The attic insulation will have trails and burrows in it. And depending on the animal can be covered in feces in urine. Upon a closer inspection can also discover electrical wire chewing and damage. These areas need to be inspected and repaired by a licensed certified electrician.
Putting an end to squirrels in the attic can be as simple as setting a few live traps and then removing them upon capture and relocating them to many miles away. But keep in mind that once you have a rodent infestation rather squirrels or rats that these animals produce a scent called a pheromone that will attract more and cause future infestations. So it is always a better idea to also find and seal the entry points the animals used to gain entry from. Many times it may be just a chew hole but it can also be caused from a gap left around the roof line that everyone calls the construction gap. This gap needs to be sealed to prevent entry of rodents. How this gap is sealed is done by many methods depending on who does the job. We use galvanized steel not flashing. Galvanized is not going to be chewed by squirrels or rats depending on the thickness. Galvanized wire mesh called hardware cloth is also used and if it is all you can get your hands on it will work if you double or triple it. A single layer can be chewed by squirrels more than rats depending on how bad the animals want back in. We tried it long ago and found it not suitable enough for our needs when putting a warranty behind our work.
Rats in the attic have fooled many customers who heard the thumps and chewing only to discover it was not squirrels but rats instead infesting the attic and walls. Many times rats & squirrels will and can infest the same attic space. When this happens you will hear the fights that occur when these animals clash for a place to live. I have seen many customers run up on this problem and throw out rat bait in the attic and this can cause the animals to die inside the attic space and stink things up when they decompose. To my knowledge and from contacting rodent bait manufacture no one makes a bait that will make the rats go outside and die. Many people claim it but we have never found a bait that we could get our hands on with this claim from the manufacture. Putting an end to rat problems works just like our squirrel prevention method but the rats do not get relocated. Sealing up all entry points and trapping out the rats that might be inside is the only method we have been able to back with our warranty. If you think you have a rat or squirrel infestation please give us a call for a free estimate.
Rodent problems can be a thing of the past we have been in business since 1998 in Metro Atlanta sealing up homes all over the state. Our Sure Seal warranty puts an end to unwanted critters invading your home. We have spent the last 12 years fine tuning our methods and found the best possible ways to do what we do for our customers. I can still recall my first year of business when customers used to ask me well how long have you been in business and I would have to say 1998 and that would be in 1999 they would say well that’s not much who’s to say your going to be here when I need you back out here? And all I could do was say they had my word on it. So many other nuisance wildlife businesses came and went over the last twelve years I understood my customers concern. And today when customers ask me it feels great being able to say since 1998. We owe this to our customers and to the many pest control businesses that referred customers to us since day one. We have like the rest of the economy went up and down over the last few years but we are still here.
